For us each tattoo has a meaning either due to the content or to the time in our lives.

I got my first tattoo at the age of 30 and I had a very specific idea about it and it is very special to me. It is a crescent moon surrounding a Celtic cross that signifies my faith, my family, and my sorority. My second one I got last year and it is a compass rose with my husband's initials at the top. Because when we started dating I gave him a key chain that said...where ever you go you are my true north.

I think tattoos are very personal and I think you should take your time making a decision about it. And there will be people who judge you for it but that is their problem.Megilonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12585458383779760324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6267702245957858554.post-37201714781782888012011-12-20T23:36:21.070-05:002011-12-20T23:36:21.070-05:00incredible tatoos...

Like you I am indecisive, mostly about what I would get. It would have to be extremely significant to be something so permanent. Maybe one of these days. Also, there's just something about sleeves that I find sexy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6267702245957858554.post-33253870465282651162011-12-09T06:39:16.329-05:002011-12-09T06:39:16.329-05:00I hadn't always wanted one but got my first wh...I hadn't always wanted one but got my first when I was 50. Not a mid-life crisis, I wanted to get matching tattoos with my daughter so that is what we did. I'm in the process of setting an appointment for my second.

So I guess I'm a person that attaches great meaning to my tattoos.

I know there are a lot of opinions out there and a lot of people that pass judgement on people with tattoos but I guess I say "screw em". They don't matter.

I think you need to give it a lot of consideration but it sounds like you have that covered. They say you should put your desired tattoo image on your bathroom mirror for a year so you see it every day to make sure you really want it. Not saying I ever did that but I do think a lot about it before I do it.

So I have a good artist I can recommend... ;)Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13181217742478990513noreply@blogger.com
