A few things I should point out:
I am 40-something and I've never mowed a lawn before. I used to be deathly allergic to mowed grass, and by the time I discovered Allegra, I was married to XDH and he did the lawn.
I often forget to eat before undertaking physical tasks.
It is 93 and humid.
I have never claimed to have good judgment.
So, I only finished the front yard. Man-o-man, that is the crappiest mow-job I have ever seen, lol. At least it isn't a foot tall any more...
I was going to update my show schedule, but damn, I'm tired. I am going to enjoy my Oberon and veg.

I mowed my first lawn this year at 30-something, so it is good to hear there are others out there in similar predicaments. I feel less pathetic knowing I have company. ;) And since that first time, I have found mowing to be kind of fun.
You can have some mowing practice at my house!
